Exceptional service and comfortable, air-conditioned double rooms with a bathtub and tea provided.

The breakfast food, especially scrambled eggs and cheese was good. The room was very quiet, very clean bed. Its location was comfortable and ideal in the basement alongside the dining area. It was surely a brilliant stay for two nights.

The staff were very welcoming, polite, helpful and efficient. The bedroom was very comfortable and clear. The breakfast was extremely good and cooked to order. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was conveniently located near a cellar restaurant, the train station, town center, and less than 1 km from the National Railway Museum.

Manager Chris very friendly, comfortable bed, room very spacious as a suite with extra couch and armchairs, swimming pool, walking distance to the city.

No Tv in bar area, would have liked to have had a choice of TV in bar or no TV in restaurant.

The breakfast was fresh and warm, the check-in was early. The room was very good sized and well-equipped.- We had access to a clean pool.- It was really close to the center of town, restaurants, and Uber/taxi.- A perfect and convenient location overall.

5 pounds of parking fees need not be. Since the parking lot was monitored with cameras, however, was comprehensible.

This venue is welcoming with knowledgeable staff at the reception desk and offers delicious food with plenty of options, such as scrambled eggs and cheese.

The location of this venue is great, with the train station being not too far away, and there's a nearby M&S Cafe for tea and treats.

The hotel is bright and clean. The staff on the reception desk are outstandingly accommodating.- It has a marvellous setting, just next door to the centre of York.- It is close to York attractions and within walking distance to St Paul's York.

Good breakfast and good location to explore York. 15 minutes walk to the city gate. Secure parking behind the hotel. We'll be back :-)
